What Can I Bring From Nara Baby?
The importer converts the supported activities below into ParentLove records.
Every imported record is free to view, edit and share with your authorized caregivers—including Health and Baby Care entries. No trial or purchase required. Adding new entries in paid categories and using premium tools still require the relevant upgrade. What stays free after import?

For each field in your Nara CSV, that ParentLove has a matching field, the importer will preserve supported details such as dates, times, durations, amounts, units and notes. Some details without an exact ParentLove field may be kept in the imported activity’s notes.
Supported details can include dates, times, durations, amounts, units and notes where ParentLove has matching fields. Some details without a matching field may be saved in the imported activity’s notes; not every field transfers.
Combo feeds can become separate breastfeeding and bottle entries, so one Nara row does not always become one ParentLove entry. Pumping goes to Pump Log, not Milk Bank freezer inventory.
What Won’t Transfer?
Pregnancy, postpartum and other parent records, journals, photos and other media do not transfer. Neither do Nara accounts, caregiver permissions, reminders, settings, charts or guidance.
Unsupported activities and fields are excluded. Only supported information present in your CSV can be imported.
Keep each child’s original CSV as a separate backup.

Questions About Moving
How do I export my Nara history?
Repeat for each child, keeping the original files separate. Do not combine different children’s exports into one file.
Nara says existing records remain viewable and exportable without paid access. Nara’s official export instructions, checked October 5, 2026.
How do I import into ParentLove?
Use ParentLove 12.2 or later on iPhone or Android.
- Open Menu → Tools & Learning → Import Data.
- On Import from Nara, check the Child row and select the correct child. Only active children are listed. If you have one active child, it is selected automatically—still check the name.
- Tap SELECT NARA CSV and choose that child’s saved export in the system file picker. If the file is not visible, try Can’t find your file? Show all files. Wait for Reading File… to finish.
- On Import Summary, review the Ready to Import counts for each activity type. All types start checked; uncheck any you do not want. Open View Issue Details if issues appear. Version 12.2 has no bulk undo for imports—check the child and selected types before tapping BEGIN IMPORT. This is a summary by activity type, not a row-by-row preview.
- While Importing… runs, progress shows Saving X of Y. Canceling stops further work but leaves already-saved entries in place.
- Review the imported counts and any issues on Import Results 🥰, then tap ALL DONE!. Check the resulting entries in your child’s activity history. Background syncing may continue after the import finishes on this phone.
Keep your original CSV separately. It preserves the source export, not later changes you make in ParentLove.
What stays free after import?
New breastfeeding, bottle feeding, sleep, diaper and Pump Log entries, plus caregiver sharing, remain free. Adding new entries in paid categories requires the relevant upgrade.
Your saved record history is not limited to seven days. Free trends cover seven days; longer-range statistics, premium charts and reports, ongoing self-service CSV export and ad removal have separate upgrade requirements. See pricing and upgrade details.
Can I import a newer export later?
Similar entries logged separately can still appear twice if their identifying details differ. Later edits or deletions in Nara do not update copies already imported into ParentLove. Do not rely on a later import to reconcile a changed Nara entry; check for an additional copy after re-importing edited source records.
This is not ongoing syncing with Nara.
What happens if I stop an import?
Retry for the same child using the same or a newer export to finish the remaining supported entries; previously imported entries are skipped.
Review the results and any issues afterward.
Where is my import processed?
You select the CSV inside ParentLove, and import processing happens on your device—no website upload is required. Saved records then use ParentLove’s normal storage and background server syncing. They may take a little longer to appear on other devices after the local import finishes.
Can I take my records out of ParentLove later?
Without export access, email Care@ParentLove.me. We’ll help you get a CSV copy at no charge, including after your trial periods or when you decide to leave. That support-assisted copy is separate from ongoing self-service export; no upgrade is required for the assistance.
What should I do if I need help?
Email Care@ParentLove.me with a description of what happened. Please do not attach your original CSV or baby records to an initial support question.
